BREAKING: Small Business Kidnaps a Terminator to Enslave as Expert Marketer (Instant Growth Ensues)
Vol.02 No.03

It’s happening! Skynet is here, and AI is going to destroy us all.

I know, I know - it sounds like some terminator stuff at first. Like we're all gonna be bowing down to our robot overlords soon.
But look, it's not like that at all... yet.
AI isn't out to steal your job or take over your life.

It's actually here to make your life a whole heck of a lot easier. Especially if you're hustling hard with your own business.
This isn't some far off sci-fi future we're talking about here. This is happening right now - in real time. And it's really not as complicated as it seems.
When you first hear about AI, it sounds like it's gonna be super technical and confusing. Like you need a degree in computer science just to use it.
But that's not the case at all.
We're talking about tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI language models. They're designed for regular folks like you and me... NOT just the tech geniuses.
You don't need any fancy coding skills or really even need to be tech savvy at all to use these AI tools to your advantage.
If you can type out a sentence. You can use AI. It's that simple.
"But Taylor, this sounds intimidating."
I hear you. But trust me, it's not. In fact, AI can make running your business so much smoother and easier - if you know how to use it right.
The big secret to making AI work for you comes down to the prompt. More on that below.
(BTW, I use AI to help me with this newsletter each week. As long as you use the right prompt, and do a little editing of the output, AI is a huge help. In my case for this newsletter, the brainstorming that ChatGPT helps me with is HUGE.)
This Week’s Plan:
Step 1: Realize that AI isn't trying to take over your business. It's here to streamline things for you. You don't need to be some tech mastermind to get it to work.
Step 2: Learn how to communicate with it. That's really all you gotta do.
Why it Works:
Think of AI like a super eager assistant who's always ready to jump in and help out - but only if you give it really clear and specific instructions. Vague stuff just won't cut it.
Here's what I'm talking about:
Vague Prompt: "Yo, help me market my biz."
Good Prompt: "Act as an expert social media marketer and copywriter. Write me a Facebook post to connect with my followers. I don't want to sound salesy. But we do have a killer 20% off sale this weekend. Make the post casual and friendly like a "bar conversation". Include value in the post like tips or tricks to help people out even if they don't buy our service. This post will be geared towards [your target market here, example: home owners who seriously need a break]. Include a soft pitch at the end for the 20% off sale [or whatever your offer is - optional]. Ask me questions about my business until you feel like you have enough info to write a super engaging post."
Then answer the questions about your business so it knows how to spit out some good content.
When you give AI that kind of specific direction, it delivers big time. It's like having an extra set of hands or a clearer mind to help you out. And who doesn't want that?
How to Make it Happen:
I'm gonna give you three insanely simple ways to start using AI in your business right now:
Crank Out a Week's Worth of Facebook Posts in Like 2 Minutes
Ask AI: "Hey, write me 7 Facebook posts promoting my [product/service]. Make each one feel different - like funny, heartfelt, educational, whatever."
Don't forget to use more detailed prompts like I showed above.Get More Reviews with Less Hassle
Request reviews from happy customers:
"Write a friendly email asking my happy customers to leave me a Google review. Keep it casual and personal." (Again, add to the prompt like I mention above)Review Response:
"Help me reply to a 3-star review where they mentioned slow service. Be understanding, own up to it, and invite them to give us another shot. Here's the review I got: '[copy and paste the review here]' "Brainstorm Local Marketing Like a Boss
"Gimme 5 creative ideas for a [business type] to bring in more customers during [specific season or event]."
What to Do Right Now:
Here's what you can do like right this second:
Think of one thing you've been putting off - like writing a social media post or asking for reviews.
Open up your go-to AI tool (ChatGPT is awesome for this).
Try out this prompt: "Write me a fun, engaging Facebook post about [your offer]. Make it super friendly, easy to read, and entertaining." And add more detail to the prompt as mentioned above.
The magic is in the details, my friend. Be specific and you'll get amazing results.
Why This Matters:
AI isn't trying to replace you. It's here to save you a ton of time. To help you focus on the stuff you actually want to be doing in your business. Not the boring, time-sucking parts.
You don't need to become an AI expert overnight. Just start small. Pick one task and ask AI to help you out with it today.
You might be blown away by what it can do for you.
Catch ya later,
Taylor "AI is My New Best Friend" Coffin
P.S. If you need some killer prompt ideas or have any questions about using AI, just hit me up. I've got a ton of examples that'll save you time and a lot of headaches.
