LVT Challenge Week 2: You’re leaving money on the table if you ignore this...

Vol.02 No.11

Last week, we kicked off the Local Visibility Trifecta (LVT) Challenge by optimizing your Google Business Profile—the foundation of your online visibility.

You did do it, right?

Right?…

(If not, reply to this email and I’ll help you out)

If you did, Google now knows exactly who you are, what you do, and who to show your business to.

But here’s the problem…

Having an optimized profile won’t do much if you don’t have any reviews (or worse, a few bad ones with no response).

That’s why Week 2 is all about building trust and authority through Google reviews.

LVT Challenge: Week 2 – Review Generation & Management

Here’s the truth:

Potential customers don’t trust what you say about your business.

But they 100% trust what your customers say about it.

Here’s some random stats I found so you’ll see just how important reviews are:
(source with a ton more stats here and here if you don’t believe me)

  • 82% of consumers check online reviews before choosing a local business

  • Reviews are 2x more important than loyalty and 7x more important than traditional marketing

  • Customers spend nearly 50% more money with businesses that respond to reviews

  • Businesses that respond to reviews average 35% more revenue

In short: More reviews = more customers = more money.

But most businesses fail at this because they:

  • Forget to ask (or assume customers will do it on their own)

  • Don’t follow up when customers don’t leave a review

  • Don’t make it easy (too many steps = no action)

  • And don’t respond to reviews (all of them)

This week, we’re fixing that.

Your Challenge This Week: Get More Reviews, The Right Way

🔹 Step 1: Download your free resources:

📌 The Local Visibility Trifecta Checklist (to track your progress)

📌 The ‘5-Star Growth Formula’ Guide (step-by-step system for generating reviews, managing reviews, and using reviews as free marketing material)

🔹 Step 2: Follow the ‘5-Star Growth Formula’ inside the guide.

And don’t forget:

Customers are 21% more likely to leave a review after a negative experience than a positive one.

So if you aren’t actively asking your happy customers for reviews, the negative ones will eventually take over.

Why This Matters

  • Google ranks businesses with more (and recent) reviews higher.

  • Customers trust businesses with strong review profiles.

  • Reviews sell for you—because let’s be real, people would rather listen to other customers than a sales pitch.

This Week’s Action

  1. Download the LVT checklist & ‘5-Star Growth Formula’ guide

  2. Send review requests to at least 5 happy customers

  3. Follow up with anyone who doesn’t respond

  4. Respond to some (or all) of your most recent reviews (good and bad)

  5. Post your best reviews on social media and your website

Bonus: Reply and tell me when you’ve completed it—I’ll give you a good ol’ “attaboy!”

I may drop a couple tips throughout the week to help you out.

Now get to work.

P.S. If you haven’t finished Week 1 (GBP Optimization), go back and knock that out first. It all stacks together.

P.P.S. Did you know 56% of actions on Google Business listings are website visits?

That means all this visibility and trust won’t matter if your site isn’t turning visitors into customers.

More on that next week…
